Listed Building in London's Mayfair

This project in Hertford St. was a challenging one. In fact, numerous contractors turned it down, claiming it was "impossible" to do. Being a listed building in one of London's premier locations, we knew it was perfect for Artisan Engineering's standards.

The project itself was a one-piece wall, with the bottom half fabricated from 12mm-thick mild steel. What made it a challenge was the wall weighed more than half a ton, and needed to get inside the building!

Never deterred by minor details, our solution was to crane the wall in through the lounge window. We think these pictures speak for themselves, and the project was featured in the Royal Institute of British Architecture 2019.
